The authorities of Bangladesh declared about continuation of implementation of the plan on the NPP construction with the assistance of Russia.  Pakistan is keeping silent about its NPPs that are in the seismically active zone. India has declared about its intention to revise the safety systems in its NPPs, but it won’t stop its “pro-atomic” policy. The main argument in favour of nuclear power industry is deficit of electric power on the Indian market. «More than 40% of our people do not have any access to electricity», says Srikumar Banerjee,  Chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission of India.

We will inspire Turkish industry." Secin, alongside Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz, added that much of the plant would be built by Turkish contractors. The deal for the plant was signed in May, and construction is set to begin in 2013.
